- You need the settings for your particular domain (e.g. aEDol.com,
mindspring.com, etc.).

- From the Start menu, choose Control Panel.

- Click the Network and Internet Connections icon.

- Click the Network Connections icon.

- Right-click on the Local Area Connection icon and choose
Properties from the pop-up menu.

- Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) in the This connection
uses the following items list.
- Click the Properties button.

- Select Use the following IP address.
- In the IP address field, type the IP address you have been
assigned.
Note: 192.168.1.2 is used as a
sample IP address. Yours will be different.
- In the Subnet mask field, type
255.255.255.0.
- In the Default gateway field, type the gateway address you
have been assigned.
Note: 192.168.1.1 is used as a
sample gateway address.
- Select Use the following DNS server addresses.
- In the Preferred DNS server field, type one of the DNS
servers for your domain (ie. 64.243.250.50 for aEDol).
- In the Alternate DNS server field, type another of the DNS
servers for your domain (ie. 64.243.251.50 for aEDol).
- Click the OK button.

- Click the Close button.

- Close all windows.
